Hand-made Sierra Elvira stone flooring

Hand-made floors

Marble stone flooring mined in the Sierra Elvira, Granada. Throughout history, widely used in the Granada monumental architecture. As witnessed in some very important buildings such as the Royal Hospital, the Palacio de Carlos V at the Alhambra, the Royal Chancery, the Cathedral, the churches of Nuestra Señora de las Lágrimas, San Juan de Dios and San Justo and Pastor and many more. Grey-green in colour, each piece is cut, polished and aged by hand, until an aged, lightly patinated look is achieved, with a gleam of great elegance.
